Since this has been going around again...

I was WAY overthinking this, until I figured out it's just an excuse to post pretty pictures. (and I still have a problem picking the married ones... I'm such a dork)

(1) List 5 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
(2) Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them. You made me pick only five and now I have to put them in order? HAH!
(3) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
(4) Supply photos for said people.
(5) Tag five people. everyone should do it and raise the hotness level of lj some more!

meme, schmeem. It's a picspam. It breaks my layout so here's the meme in light format. And if you're on dial-up, you probably shouldn't even try, sorry.

Follow the pretty lemmings )
We watched a show "After the Super Comet", and I'm thinking the whole time: maybe I should return my [livejournal.com profile] apocalypse_kree prompt, and write post-comet DOOOOM!fic. Because that show was nothing but apocafic from beginning to end. It was also surprisingly survivable -- a comet the size of the dinosaur-killing-one in about the same place will probably NOT kill off all of humanity. of course the survivors might WISH they were dead, but that's a different problem...

corsets and pirates and Disney and Harry Potter stuff )
I was at the Disney Store today to get a Lightning McQueen t-shirt for Rugrat (he's frightfully jealous of his buddy who has several -- yes, clothing jealousy starts in preschool!), and I saw the most completely awesome action figure of ...

Tia Dalma!

(ha, bet you thought I was gonna say Will, didn't you?)

Me WANT! (not going to buy, because me already have more damn toys than I can stuff into my garage, but it is very cool) Anyone who likes Tia should definitely check it out.

Love, LOVE, this movie.

I was spoiled for everything (which may have helped actually -- I didn't have my attention pulled away by trying to figure out what was going on) and it didn't matter at all. Still got caught up in it. Some gorgeous visuals (and I'm not just talking about Orlando *g*)

I thought I was prepared -- I still very nearly cried.

I'm too attached to these fictional people. Really.

And while I don't usually care about writer intention, bless Ted and Terry for telling their intent for the closing scene, becasue otherwise my heart would be in tiny little pieces.

I have to go again.

I was going to spend my gift card at Best Buy to get the PotC soundtrack at lunch. They didn't have any left in stock. It only came out yesterday! They must have ordered only four copies or something. So I bought it on iTunes. And the record companies wonder why people don't buy physical CDs anymore! *snort*

I'm so spoiled for At World's End, and I don't care. PIRATES ZOMG! Orlando tied up and wet! (shallow, yes, y'all knew that). But I'm not going until Saturday. *whine*

But on the other hand, I'm finding it rather fun to be a fan of LOST but not in fandom. I know NOTHING about the finale tonight and it's making me anxious and excited. We'll see if I can handle NOT clicking onto reactions until I finally get to watch.

Speaking of finales, for all you Heroes fans, I meant to mention before, but I heard an interview with Adrian Pasdar on the morning of the finale. He knows the date the show begins shooting for S.2. I find that .... encouraging. :)

ETA: Spoilers for Heroes finale and PotC3 in comments...

Finally went and saw Dead Man's Chest last night. Now, keeping in mind three very important facts:

1. I haven't seen a movie in the theaters since Inside Man back in, er, April, I think it was. So I was primed to enjoy whatever, probably.

2. I have anticipated this movie as my number one movie of the whole freakin' year.

3. I've loved Johnny Depp since 21 Jump Street, I like Keira Knightley, and I fangirl Orlando Bloom to a shameful degree.

So, y'know, YMMV, but I LOVED IT .

SPOILERS, just in case )
