A birthday record

Thanks for the wishes and stuff, it's much appreciated being the day I officially become not young. :)

Except for an ant invasion this morning, which was successfully fended off with bleach (DIE BUG DIE!), the rest of the day went well with some nice surprises.

My local coffee shop gave me a cupcake! It pays to go where everyone knows your name, yes.

I also got a birthday tweet from Sarah Shahi! (one of her other fans has a bday tomorrow and we were talking and Sarah must have clicked her mentions list at exactly the right moment). Still, she didn't have to tweet at me. She's a sweetheart.

And by the way, she confirmed they start FL production at the end of the month. Given they started last year right after Labor Day, I am increasingly dubious of a January airdate. Sigh.







My parents took me to lunch and gave me money. Money specifically earmarked for me. The word CONVENTION was even mentioned (yes, my parents know me well, lol).

And from hubby, we got a Wii! YAY.

Tomorrow is the friends' luncheon, so that'll be fun.

heh, the bigger the follower list of the celeb the less likely you are to interact, I figure. I bet some don't EVER look at their mentions, or only during Q&A sessions and the like. And even then, they have to be looking at their mentions at the exact time you tweet at/about them. So it's all luck. But it was certainly a fun thing to get! :

Yes, he's back. And I don't think they can have reduced him from regular given that he had to turn down the major recurring HIMYM role to come back. Bonnie Hammer loves him so I doubt she'd let them fuck him over like that. But there's been only a little about the new season so far, and even less about where he fits in yet.
