Ficathons Anonymous

With sabaceanbabe I have decided that the (fic)world needs Ficathons Anonymous. Because -- we both swore off them, that our last one would be the last. And yet, we simply could not resist the allure of the Helo Shagathon .

Clearly, we have a problem.

The first step to dealing with a problem is realizing that you have a problem, so we're well on our way. The second step is creating joining, Ficathons Anonymous .

So, I'll start our first meeting.

Hello. My name is Lizardbeth, and I'm a ficathon-aholic. I just signed up for my latest ficathon even after I swore I was all ficathonned out after yuletide, sg_rarepairings and potcsecretsanta. I have a problem. *sniff* I need your help.

Does anyone else have this problem and would like to talk about it?

Hi, I'm Medie and I'm a ficathon-aholic. I've got one from last August that is still not entirely complete and yet, I am hoping to finish it in order to sign up for the same ficathon this year. I am a bad bad person. *G*

Hi. My name is Lyssie, and I offered to pinch-hit in the Weir ficathon, and have yet to do so. I finked out on the Sparky ficathon, and took two months to finish the secondary character one...

And, well, I may have never finished the Teal'cathon organization, leaving four fics unwritten.

My name is sabaceanbabe and I'm a ficathon-aholic.

I'm supposed to be pinch-hitting for the friendship-thon, but lost all my notes in a tragic Palm crash. I'm not yet finished with my first Sweet Charity fic and have yet to start the second one (I'm sooooooo sorry, repr0b8 and poisontaster!). I have a birthday fic to write (several weeks late now) for kazbaby. We won't even talk about the vids that I've promised people, but can't seem to get myself to work on.

And yet, I was the first to sign up for the Helo ShAgathon. Worse, I had a brilliant idea for a (maybe) new kind of ficathon for pyramidofdreams.

Somebody, please help me!
