Ficathons Anonymous

With sabaceanbabe I have decided that the (fic)world needs Ficathons Anonymous. Because -- we both swore off them, that our last one would be the last. And yet, we simply could not resist the allure of the Helo Shagathon .

Clearly, we have a problem.

The first step to dealing with a problem is realizing that you have a problem, so we're well on our way. The second step is creating joining, Ficathons Anonymous .

So, I'll start our first meeting.

Hello. My name is Lizardbeth, and I'm a ficathon-aholic. I just signed up for my latest ficathon even after I swore I was all ficathonned out after yuletide, sg_rarepairings and potcsecretsanta. I have a problem. *sniff* I need your help.

Does anyone else have this problem and would like to talk about it?

And three days later, Sam goes completely insane. No, no, Leoben's too annoying.

Reminds me, I still want to do that Three/Sam "Do you really think we didn't know you were here, Sammy?" fic. Gah. Need time. And nagging.

No. Sam just keeps shooting the halucination in his head. (he already has the crazy!John Crichton hair, why not give him the psychosis as well?)

....does this mean I have to put Sam in the Aurora Chair? (also, technically, they've already had the Coin Toss scene. Kinda. Now I want Sam to tell Kara, "I think I shouldn't have given you back the dog tag." Possibly while they're pointing guns at each other...)

if Leoben is Sam's Harvey, then he likely acquired him on New Caprica, don't you think? maybe Sam wasn't quite so left alone as we think?

Leoben is looking for Kara, right? that's the last bit we see in ldyb2. maybe he got pissed that Kara's not there and not in a mood to take pity on the sick guy, takes him prisoner, fraks with his head in some way and then lets him go. Sam thinks he's free and clear, but then he keeps having these visions... (which was kind of what I was planning for Three/Sam anyway, without the Imaginary Friend bit).

Although, we're mean to Sam, aren't we? I've got unfinished fic where he gets tortured after EoJ, 'cause they capture him when he's searching for Kara.

yep, it's Three capturing Sam on NC during the occupation. Though I wouldn't go so far as call it a fic yet. It's just a page or so - more an idea right now. Nothing I can't give up for something better. :)
