Fannish things I have done today

1. Written two pages on Ariadne despite that Other Fic staring at me from a tab.

2. Closed Ariadne in an effort to make myself work on Other Fic.

3. Written ... a paragraph... on the Other Fic With A Deadline.

4. Decided the world needs more Lee/Ishay! (look, he's too pretty to be alone. She's cute and competent, and not evil, after all. We already know they'd have adorable twins together. So why not?)

5. Restrained myself from starting Lee/Ishay Epic Romance

6. Written an email to Creation to tell me Trucco's autograph time (which they left off the schedule), because dude, I don't really want to be there all frakking day, if I don't have to be. But I will bet a zillion dollars, that's what's going to happen. I did inform them he was the only reason I was attending, which happens to be true, though I was THISCLOSE to going to see Amanda on Saturday. I wish they'd have him sign at 4-ish after all the photo ops are done, though, so I could go home. Waiting til the end everyone's going to be hungry and tired. Or drunk.

4. & 5. I used to like that idea, but then Lee/Paulla and Ishay/Leoben grabbed me and made me start fics for them. Still, Lee/Ishay Epic Romance might convert me. ;-)

6. Have fun there! I'm so jealous, but I'm consoling myself with the idea that you'll post a report (you will, right?) and I can pretend I was there.

Lee/Paulla would also be acceptable. But not make certain people's heads explode in the same way Lee/Ishay would, which has its own appeal. :)

Ishay/Leoben would be interesting, though I'm not so sure about her Cylon feelings. She's not evil, but she still looked a bit dubious about them, so I don't know if she'd shack up with the crazy one. (now, if Simon had gotten his head out of Cavil's ass long enough that might have worked)

The Cylon thing is what makes I/L so intriguing for me (post-finale at least), because I can see him obsessing over the physical body now that they're all very mortal and wanting to learn medicine, and her only tolerating teaching him because they need more doctors. I see it eventually becoming a love/hate sort of relationship that's vaguely reminiscent of Crichton/Aeryn with the straight-laced woman reluctantly falling for the crazy guy. But I don't think I've seen anyone else ship it, so it could be my crazy minor-ship side coming into play. ;-)

Lee/dark blonde Six works for me too...other than the fact that she'd tower over him, which is just slightly awkward. ;-) But it would work in fic better than on film. Frankly, I'll ship Lee with anyone who's got a backbone and has the slightest bit of idealism (because you need the first to be good for Lee, and the second for him to be good for you).

I wasn't thinking of Lida in particular. The dark-blond ones in general have been pretty awesome: Natalie, the construction worker on Galactica. (Of course they both ended up dying, but that doesn't have to be part of this story!)
