1. Written two pages on Ariadne despite that Other Fic staring at me from a tab.
2. Closed Ariadne in an effort to make myself work on Other Fic.
3. Written ... a paragraph... on the Other Fic With A Deadline.
4. Decided the world needs more Lee/Ishay! (look, he's too pretty to be alone. She's cute and competent, and not evil, after all. We already know they'd have adorable twins together. So why not?)
5. Restrained myself from starting Lee/Ishay Epic Romance
6. Written an email to Creation to tell me Trucco's autograph time (which they left off the schedule), because dude, I don't really want to be there all frakking day, if I don't have to be. But I will bet a zillion dollars, that's what's going to happen. I did inform them he was the only reason I was attending, which happens to be true, though I was THISCLOSE to going to see Amanda on Saturday. I wish they'd have him sign at 4-ish after all the photo ops are done, though, so I could go home. Waiting til the end everyone's going to be hungry and tired. Or drunk.

Ishay/Leoben would be interesting, though I'm not so sure about her Cylon feelings. She's not evil, but she still looked a bit dubious about them, so I don't know if she'd shack up with the crazy one. (now, if Simon had gotten his head out of Cavil's ass long enough that might have worked)

The Cylon thing is what makes I/L so intriguing for me (post-finale at least), because I can see him obsessing over the physical body now that they're all very mortal and wanting to learn medicine, and her only tolerating teaching him because they need more doctors. I see it eventually becoming a love/hate sort of relationship that's vaguely reminiscent of Crichton/Aeryn with the straight-laced woman reluctantly falling for the crazy guy. But I don't think I've seen anyone else ship it, so it could be my crazy minor-ship side coming into play. ;-)

The answer is always no and Paulla has more than one bruise, courtesy Ishay's less-than-gentle reaction to sex after the fall of the colonies. It gets worse on Earth, worse when there's no lab bench, just rocks and trees and Ishay's worn-out boots and Paulla's dirt-encrusted fingernails.
Lee Adama is something new and different, something that Ishay gets, but Paulla's still not certain about until he's arguing with her about where the best place for a settlement is and she pushes him up against a tree--
Rough hands close on her hips, yanking her in against him, and she thinks a little too giddily that this was exactly what she wanted.
Too late, she remembers she was meeting Ishay down here.
Not that it matters, warm heat presses up against her back, and the question is presented against her neck, Layne's voice a little huskier than it should be, Do you want me to leave, Paulla?
Her no gets lost in Lee Adama's mouth, but it doesn't matter--her hand is reaching behind, pulling at Ishay's tunic, holding her close.
Then Ishay's laughing, pulling them both away from the tree and sliding between them, turning and kissing Paulla, legs getting tangled together, both grabbing onto Lee, who's not balanced enough to keep them up-right.
Grass is more forgiving than metal and concrete, and Paulla arches, wriggling free and turning to drag Ishay's tunic off, Lee joining her an instant later, while Ishay argues over their clothed state--
It doesn't take much to get them mostly-naked. Enough for hands and mouths, for Lee to be pressing into Paulla's hand and Ishay to be kissing her way between Paulla's breasts.
The sunlight makes them all shine too-bright, and Paulla has to close her eyes, one hand tangling fingers in Ishay's half-wrecked pony-tail, almost afraid this is a dream. If it's an illusion, Lee's half-strangled moan of complaint when Ishay smacks his ass seems wrong.
She thinks, coming down and scraping her nails against Lee's back while Ishay is beneath him, that she could get used to this.
