WHAT A KICKASS GAME.

If you guys like basketball, at all, watch the US-SPAIN match. Just watch. It's a great game - what a basketball game should be. Exiting and fun, and filled with players who step up.

And then cry with me that the liveblogger's quip at the end of it isn't true:

"So Game 2 is Tuesday, right?" I WISH.

I caught the last half by accident. I saw the game and assumed it was taped so I went to see who won online. Saw it was live and figured I might as well watch.

I was rooting for Spain. :)

It was just great basketball. Spain was amazing - considering they dropped 37 pts in the first game against the US, to make such a close game was awesome. That's what basketball should be. I really do wish they could play again-- and if NBC doesn't show it again so more people can watch at a normal time, it's a shame.

I've watched it (just before the handball finale with France (and we are winning...) and I just say wow congrats !!! You made a great match !!!!

SPAIN made a great match. To be that determined and play so hard, was just fantastic basketball. Very exciting. I really do wish they could play again.

Go France! Handball is like Pyramid, played on a bigger court. So when I watch handball I think of the C-Bucs! :)
