I realize most of you interested in this have already seen the announcement, BUT I have my first vid finished!!!!! FIRST VID EVER.

And okay, it's only a minute long, but gotta start somewhere!

These are the Titles for the Planetside Caprica project: our fake show re-imagining Battlestar Galactica as a show about the Caprica Resistance.

I AM SO EXCITED, GUYS!

My brand new Vista Movie Maker keeps crashing on me. Thhbbbbttt! Then I downloaded two trial versions (for Premiere and PowerDirector) and both of them put watermarks on during rendering. At least the one for PowerDirector goes away. I just need to slap a title on it! bah. So much for doing my little project the easy way. I hate it when something that should be easy is so frelling difficult. *sigh* Stupid old computer screen blow up making me rebuild everything.

So, vidder types? Since I'm rebuilding my system, what do you all use/rec? Given that money IS an object, I'm not springing for the full Premiere, no matter what. But... Premiere Elements? Studio? Vegas? PowerDirector? (which I kind of liked in trial, though I haven't tried to do anything complicated yet, but its export/rendering was a WHOLE lot easier than P.E.)

Something else?
