Other than my phone I've been very unconnected to the net the past week or so, so here, finally, a chance to update! If I've missed anything of great import (or little import) let me know.
So, my travels. We're in Hawaii (Oahu, specifically, where I have family). I've been posting a pic a day over at my Twitter (@lizatLAX) if you wanna see some scenery. A lot of what we're here for, besides vacation, is helping my MIL deal with things now that her husband's passed away, so there's been some not-very-exciting bank visiting and the like, but besides that, it's been the beach and various sights. Alas, no Hawaii Five-0 sightings this year, at least not so far, but I did see the casting office for the upcoming tv show "The River" which is also going to film here.
We also went to Sea Life Park, where the worlds only "whalphin" lives. She was produced by an oopsie at the park 25 years ago - a bottlenose dolphin and false killer whale got it on and are closely enough related that the whalphin was able to have a baby herself. (Cetacean Shape of Things to Come?)
Fannishly, I've done nothing worth mentioning. Being out in the sun makes me so tired I have to crash at night. And then my MIL suckered me into Korean soaps which didn't help.(CITY HUNTER -- he's got a Justin Bieber haircut! He fights crime! what more do you want in a drama, amirite? Yuletide fandom? MAYBE...)
