Now that I'm clear of ficathon-ish obligations, I've been kinda going through my folders poking around in the unfinished stuff (heaps o' stuff, people. HEAPS.)
Observation: I love me some crack. oh yes, I do.
- B5/SG-1 xover. (yes, you're shocked that I would mash together these two, I know).
- A BSG/Jeremiah crossover. Cuz wouldn't that suck if you're the RTF? To reach Earth and find out you're fifteen years too late? *cackles*
- An SG-1/Mummy/Farscape x-over. Which is not QUITE as crackified as it sounds... Alex O'Connell just happens to be the name of Rick and Evie's son in the Mummy Returns, and he was born ca. 1915, which would make him the grandfather of Alexandra O'Connell in FS (seen briefly in "Rhapsody in Blue"), who was Crichton's girlfriend and a physicist. And you just know that Imhotep HAD to be a Goa'uld, right?
So, yes, I'm amused by many of my unfinished things. *g*
And ETA: Re Heroes
I read someone who said the last few minutes jumped the shark. *head desk* Say WHAT? It's a teaser, moron. Yes, it's fantastic and you don't understand what's going on -- that's the Frakking POINT. grrr.
If I hear another mention of "jumping the shark" or people using "Mary Sue" to criticize simply poor characterization I think I'm going to have to get all Miss Ranty Pants.
