BSG Action Figures!

Some may already know about this, but I hadn't heard anything yet, so here you go. Info about the BSG action figures coming this fall-ish.

Diamond Select/Art Asylum is going to be making BSG action figures, in the 6-7 " scale. They'll be similar to their Stargate line.

The first series will be Apollo and Six (red dress), with Hot Dog being the chase figure in each carton (usually one per carton, sometimes less). With exclusives for various outlets:

Six (black dress)
Chief
ANDERS (!, OMG!YAY! :) ) --Suncoast exclusive

AND HELO!

Helo is reported to be an "exclusive" to Action Figure Xpress. (Which only means exclusive until they start showing up on ebay, but ...)

They are scheduled to debut at Wizard World Chicago (Aug), but it's just an estimate.

Forthcoming include four of the following, but not which ones, plus more perhaps as future exclusives/chase figs:

Admiral Adama
Starbuck
Boomer
Ceturion
Roslin
Tigh

(I will bet Baltar's one of the first few groups, since the interviewer didn't list him and he's certainly one of the Top Ten)

How cool is it that the exclusives will be different characters rather than variants (with the exception of Six)?

HOW FRAKKING AWESOME IS IT THAT HELO AND ANDERS ARE IN THE FIRST SERIES?!?!?!

I was so excited. ok, I'm still excited. :)

Hopefully "debut" means, debut for sale, not just the prototypes on display. If so, and their SG figures are any guide, the DST booth at WWLA had them by the ton.

If you buy me one, I will LOVE YOU for ever and ever (and pay you money, too *g*).

nope, these will be the action figure size of six inches tall, not the minimates. Their Stargate line is quite well done, so I have pretty high hopes of these.
