I got my yuletide assignment already!

Not even enough time to process that signups were closed! And I already know my assignment!!

I KNOW NOTHING OF THESE FANDOMS! Everything I might have once known has mysteriously dribbled away! i'm going to write the worst story like ever and my poor recipient is going to be crushed. I'll ruin somebody's Christmas with a crappy story, OMG!

It appears that none the rest of you slackers smart people are doing yuletide but you're just gonna have to deal with random panic attacks for awhile. So sorry. (well,kinda)

I'm gonna go watch Supernatural and calm down now.
(and there is no mood for panicky and flailing, how can this be?)

ETA: To my Secret Santa if you're already stalking me diligently researching, I will post something more coherent and usable for you tomorrow when I'm done squeeing!

never even heard of it. i did a search for christmas fic groups and even asked on my LJ a while back but figured there weren't any. So what fandoms did you get given?

I can't tell you the fandoms I got, being as it's a secret santa set-up. yuletide is a ficathon for small or rare fandoms (books that aren't Harry Potter, movies, t.v shows, anime, just about everything -- there are over 1400 fandoms offered with almost 900 participants this year). The stories go up on Christmas day and stay anonymous until New year's.

and well... *shrug* there are many christmas/secret santa ficathons, although they're not all called that. It just depends on what fandom(s) you're interested in. I'm doing three, which I've been whining about for awhile. I've got my writing schedule down for the end of the year!
