When I post a multi-part fic to a place where I can see how many reads each part gets, I shouldn't look. It's depressing to know exactly how many people looked at part one and decided not to read any more. At least if it's a one-parter I can tell myself everyone who clicked on it actually read it (which is not true, but I can pretend).
But on the bright side I can presume that people who go on must think the story's okay, right?
Speaking of things that suck, I still have no voice. I'm like a boy frog going through puberty. Croak-squeak-whisper-croak I wish my vocal cords would just get better already.
And yet I have a new kick-ass Teyla icon, because she is of the awesome. Well, she would be, if TPTB ever got their heads out of their butts and let her be awesome again. So not all is bad.

Actually this whining was more prompted by looking at the counts for Going Home, which has a drop off rate of about 20 % from first to second chapter. I attribute it to the Fan Awards mostly, since no one could tell from the nomination that it was -- gasp! horror! -- a Tok'ra fic, until they clicked on the first page. But then I did that to other authors too -- this is a mis-filed Jack/Sam fic, *back button* -- so I guess it's fair.
I was gonna ask -- did you want a particular screencap from Jeremiah? I'd be happy to make you some if you tell me what you want. I've got both seasons on my computer so it's pretty easy.

Do you want their hair to match, between the Interrugnum pics and the general pics? His is pretty short toward the end of the season, IIRC. Or do you want one where it's curlier (like when he's Malek?).

it might be better if the general one matched Malek's please. Tho both charries are so similar it's incredible. Have you noticed how Markus walks with his hands behind his back at times?

But yeah, PS was definitely still in a Markus head-space when he was playing Malek. Of course, it probably didn't help that Peter deLuise directed him in both shows and wrote Malek for him. So between the two of them, it's not really a surprise. The similarity helps a lot for my AU epic, Distorted Reflections though... :)

My adventures of Geek Sam went from 1200 hits to 300 on the 2nd chapter - that's maybe what? 75% drop? and I know EXACTLY where everyone abandoned ship

And sadly, Samantha Carter always has a thing for the leader of whatever version of SG1 she’s in. Irregardless of whether it’s Teal’c, Janet, Martouf, Narim, Daniel, Jonas or Jack, the leader of SG-1 makes Samantha Carter’s heart beat faster.
In this story, it’s just too darn bad that Jack’s a General.

As for evil Genius pairing? Welp, I guess that's my problem. I have a squicky pairing in two of my unfinished stories. :)
