There's a whole lot of killin' goin' on 'round here.

HAHAHA least surprising surprise, or what? oh Esther, love how you sneakily left that part out. When she cleans up her own mess she damn well cleans it up.

I find the image of some hundreds of vamps in Finn/Sage's line spontaneously going down all over the world SO funny. If this were a bigger show, we'd get to see that. Heck, it deserves some kind of crossover episode like with Castle or something investigating the weird deaths.

but, aw, the show actually made me care about Finn and Sage for about two minutes there. Finn was delightfully "GTFO Klaus". But otherwise, hi!-bye! But I do like the slight dilemma raised by Tyler being Klaus' get, esp if it turns out the Salvatores' are of Elijah's. Though really the more interesting thing to me was that the Originals don't seem to know about this drawback of their dying (though they may figure it out from Sage and her get). But unfortunately the obvious solution to all these dilemmas is simply to do nothing.

Bonnie and Caroline have interesting things to do, yay! You go Bonnie. poor ducky, she's had just THE WORST time lately.

I suppose for the show it was great timing on her part, but I'm a teensy bit curious about how it would've played out if she'd been slower so Finn had died before she finished the spell.

And heh. Y'know, sometimes I wonder if Elena would have any feelings at all for Damon if nobody ever told her she did. It's like a constant refrain and it's always external and rarely has ANYTHING to do with what she's doing at any given time.

Stefan, I'm sorry you have to hold the idiot ball half the time. But at least you seem emotionally more stable, and that's nice to see again. And admitting to Elena that you do still love her (which anyone WITH EYES already knew) but at least she knows now, too. I assume we're going to get the "Person A of love triangle gives B-C blessing to be together" scene pretty soon, since that was awfully close already and obviously they're not going to have Stefan leave if D/E does happen. *sigh*

...

(and then there was a long pause in which I had to do other stuff. So moving on.)

O. M. G.

HAROLD FINCH ON E IS THE BEST THING.

SO FUNNY.

Also Reese and the HCl trick was pretty awesome (as was his little evil grin when he shot the dude.)

I am VERY interested in the thing with the FBI and Carter. Because that's almost worse than Snow, because Snow needs to die, but this FBI taskforce is presumably just doing its job. That's a huge problem for Operation Batman.

Also, I'm going to go with the theory that Finch was saying goodnight to Nathan Ingram, not Reese. Now, that could be Reese's real name, too, I guess, but it seems to fit with Ingram given that Finch was feeling vulnerable. And Reese didn't take advantage of that, which was a great moment, when we know how much he really wants to know.

It's amazing how much I look forward to this show each week!

I've also been watching Caviezel's movie Outlander, which is like a Skiffy Saturday night movie, but with a bigger budget. It went straight to video because the premise is ridiculous, but so far it's been better than I expected. I'm only halfway through it, so it may end badly, but so far it's watchable fun.

Despite it being the inevitable, I am really sad Finn is dead. I admit I didn't particularly take to Sage but I did think they did seem to have that "eternal true love" thing going and it was sad that it had to end. Bless him drinking tequila for the first time. He needed to stick around for a bit longer and "live" because I actually think she was changing his mind about wanting to sacrifice himself.

Oh Esther, talk about bringing on your own family apocalypse. I love it. She really does mean to eradicate the abomination she created.

The Salvatore line needs to have stemmed from Elijah or Rebekah. I will not accept anything else from Plec or Williamson. Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah need to still be strutting around having tantrums and family fueds at the end of the season. I like Kol too, but I fear like Finn that part of the family eye candy is disposable :(

OMG Finch/ Emerson was just epic last episode. Emmy nom for that episode I think.

I thought he meant Ingram, and it made me a little sad becuase he obviously still really misses his bestie :(

that tequila scene (and the previous bit when he was all Shut Up, Klaus) was so cute. But yeah, he was pretty doomed - and Kol probably is too. But of the other three, I don't know... I don't think all three will survive the season, but they could also just leave. Since I presume we'll get away from the Originals next season.

High!Finch was so fantastic. lolol

Isn't Outlander the space Vikings movie? Heeeeeeee.

I am VERY interested in the thing with the FBI and Carter. Because that's almost worse than Snow, because Snow needs to die, but this FBI taskforce is presumably just doing its job. That's a huge problem for Operation Batman.

Yes. It's a development that could play out in fascinating ways as the season wraps up.

Also, I'm going to go with the theory that Finch was saying goodnight to Nathan Ingram, not Reese.
*nods* The idea that Reese's real name is Nathan is just a bit too much.

High Finch was the most amusing ever.

He's from space, they're just VIkings! :D I really want to watch the rest of it, but I don't know when I'll get a chance since it's on the dvr and we're leaving on vacay soon.. It's better than I expected! admittedly not a very high bar to clear, considering what I expected, but Caviezel kicks the crap out of Vikings with his krav maga or whatever the hell fighting style he uses. so it's already a win. *g*
