Fic and some terrible Star Trek 2 photos

A set of random prompts at 13th_tribe (and probably mentioning the idea to kag523 - this is why I shouldn't be allowed to prompt other people, I end up prompting myself), has now made me produce the start of a BSG Western AU. I think I should blame watching Justified ultimately. (I don't suppose I could make this into my remix? no? bummer)

So.
my attempt to take pics of the Star Trek set was thwarted all around by my own incompetence, driving, and then by JJ Abrams being extremely pissed because someone else was way better than I was at this.



This is from Monday. It was a cloudy, rainy day so they had the lights on. You can see part of the large greenscreen, despite being out of focus. (it turns out that there's no stopping on the street so it was a bit tricky to get photos while driving and not, y'know, running into things)



So I went back. On Tuesday, the tree got in my way, but here's a partial pic of the set in the sun from the street.


But yesterday, I discovered that JJ must've been extremely upset by the photos/video that was getting leaked because NOW? THERE IS A GIANT GREEEN FENCE.


*sigh*

(and in case you're wondering, the road that appears to go right up to it is fenced off. The only access is around the back where the building is and is all gated.)



Sorry. I did however have a fun dream where I ran into Cumberbatch at the local Starbucks - dream!Benedict seemed nice although I kind of doubt (a) he gets his own coffee when he's working, and (b) he wears Sherlock's clothes.

And re: my prompts, those are meant to be a spark, don't feel obligated to follow them if you don't want. I was just throwing stuff at the wall to see if any might stick for you. ..

And then one of them stuck in my own head. argh. This is not what I'm supposed to be writing! !! :D
