Five drabbles should really not be this hard. Of course, I could've just left them, but that offends my sense of ENDLESS EDITING.
I feel like I should say STUFF about teevee. I have a post that was going to be brief about TVD, and then it turned really, really long, so apparently I have words! WHO KNEW??? Anyway that'll go up tomorrow.
In the meantime, how about my happyfuntimes fandom?
LOL, Brad Dourif. Let's see, when you see his name in the credits you totally expect a stable good guy right? I know I do. (not helped by Mark Reads doing LotR right now, so obv I'm looking at him going "hey Grima, long time no see, I'm sure you are really a very nice person!" right.
Let's get the little squee moment out of the way: MM and David talked! YAY. MOAR.
never has there been a more perfect use for CRICKETS for a silent audience. I think I sprained something!
I do think Rumple's story might have benefited from being spread out a little more - the "MWAHAHHAHAH EVIL" seemed rushed. But it was about time we got a story about him and where he comes from, and how he got power. It was lovely to see Carlyle play sympathetic before Grima Wormtongue took advantage of his desperation. Still curious about how this ties into his child-taking thing.
I am all curious about how long ago that was versus the rest of Fairy Tale Land. I may be assuming a lot, but I had the feeling it was a long time ago. OGRE WARS. tell me moar.
ooh, and though I'm a bit tired of Regina vs Emma, I did love Regina's confrontation with Gold. They play off each other so well.
Sad to think that such a good father eventually ends up a man (creature?) willing to steal other people's children, and a gentle soul turns into an evil manipulative bastard. At least Regina's still human in her badness.
In news that makes me lol, today, at the TCAs, they announced that AMC is going to have "The Walking Dead" instead of the planned "Killing" panel. yep, there's some courage right there. You'd think, given they're already filming S.2 for The Killing, they'd want to come in and reassure all the t.v. critics that they know what they're doing. I'm sure they're all WAY TOO BUSY.
I saw a new PofI ad during football yesterday and I was struck by the HAWT. no new footage, but I don't know, it was unfilicious. I think I'll blame Yuletide and having to get into everyone's head more.
