I'm endlessly amused that so far not one person at Mark Watches has mentioned "WE'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!" which is honestly one of the things I remember the most about those first two eps of S4. Because that was a THING. Wasn't it? It was SO MUCH A THING at the time. lol

But it does raise a small point I thought about --

So let's think about this for a moment. Kara was, obviously, right; they were going the wrong way when the Fleet continued on in a straight line from the Nebula. However, this raises the point -- How did the Thirteenth Tribe find Earth 1.0? They were, so far as we know, also going on a straight line toward the nebula (which was a nova at the time). Which means they were ALSO going the wrong way eventually once they passed the nebula.

So they also must've had a guide. I'm sure someone else thought about that, but I don't think I ever have, so there you go. :)

Things I think about while writing NaNo. yes. Speaking of NaNo, I definitely will need a beta. I mean, I will anyway, obv, but I have no idea if Julie is coming off as too much of a bitch right out of the gate. But it doesn't matter right now. ONWARD!

Are we sure the Thirteenth Tribe went towards the nebula? Or was that an assumption because the Colonials didn't know what the real Eye of Jupiter was? If they did, I guess they had another sign post after that.

I don't think the show was trying to trick us - it pretty much states flat out that the actual Eye of Jupiter referred to the supernova that created the nebula. There didn't appear to be any other particular clues that we heard. Which is why I think they must've had a guide to show them the rest of the way.

But as with all the vague backstory, it's not like it couldn't be the other way. It could.

I didn't think the show was trying to trick us. Head Six said the thing in the floor was the Eye. The Colonials didn't know this and assumed it was the supernova. That was my impression, at least.
