pyramidofdreams draft is off to beta! TAKE THAT, RECALCITRANT FIC!
2. Now I work on Black Sails to finish in October. and I put Triad aside. Because they aren't the same fic, even if they do cross the same ground, and getting them mixed up would be bad.
3. I should start thinking about NaNo. I still want to write something original for it, but I don't have anything lined up yet. Must ponder.
4. Possibly related, I had a dream last night where I was driving around the Scottish countryside looking for Glasgow airport. Which, even in my dream, was frustrating because I know where it is. I hate dreams where you wake up thinking, "damn dream-self, you are a moron".
5. I have a cute wee story about Playboy Club. First, if you don't live in a place that has frequent film location shoots you may not know that in order to direct the crew where to park, the location team puts up signs. Usually these use some codeword, so outsiders can't tell what it's for (though occasionally it's pretty obvious like the LOLA sign last year). So the other day, I was taking Kidlet to school and we saw one of those signs, but this one had a little black bowtie on it instead of a name. I didn't think much of it, since we see signs pretty often and half the time they're for commercials, anyway. But Kiddo says, "I bet that's for Playboy Club." And he was totally right, it looked like the bowtie part of the bunny logo. And then, I felt like a terrible mother for him even knowing that. lol
But we won't be seeing it again, since they got canceled this morning. Darn, I should put money on that one in the first-to-die-poll, easiest call ever.
