I should write a Doctor Who post. FOR ALL OF THESE FEELINGS.

Which I've already flailed about at length elsewhere, but still.



ALL THE AWARDS FOR ALL OF THEM.

First, my favorite part of my favorite comment I wrote elsewhere:

Ok, Amy's face when she realizes "mother-in-law" - HILARIOUS.

Rory and his "... okay" face. and the final pay off of "Killing Rory all the time" - nope, not this time.

I can't get over knowing as a fact how old Matt Smith is, in real life, and he is TOTALLY NOT THAT as Eleven.

River! Ponds! Eleven!
-- now all in the same family! (and he DID NOT HAVE TO DO THE CEREMONY TO TELL RIVER HIS PLAN. I just. how is that unclear, people? He did it, because he chose to. And she chose to. And Amy and Rory gave their permission (though, lol, poor Rory) And I love that they use the bowtie, that was, like, ULTIMATE prop use ever.

okay, and someone mentioned Susan in the comments elsewhere, and I was just thinking that since part of River's life is on Earth now, I am STILL thinking of that crib and how it needs a baby in it. IT DOES.

ALso Holy Roman Empiror Churchill, the super meta talking about the Christmas Special (sort of), pterodactyls, wacky balloons!

Amy, taking down Madame Kovarian and saving Rory because she is Amelia Pond and she remembered EVERYTHING.

and hee, head in a box and good wi-fi! Creepy skull things! And mom and daughter bonding over wine in the garden and Amy finds out that NO NOT DEAD and then there's a party of happy fun times. (oh and also how careful Moffat was to tell us, that yes, River was lying about the suit in Day of the Moon. *snicker* yeah, he knew someone would mention that.)

"Doctor Who?" being the First Question. LOLOLOLOL MOFFAT IS A TROLL AGAIN SOME MORE. <3 <3 because OF COURSE.



And so also, now I want to read books about Eleven and Ponds and River, if anyone has any recommendations about how to fill in the LONG COLD GAP UNTIL CHRISTMAS... :(

ALSO

Last Friday, I watched Haven because of Tahmoh, despite having not seen it before. I don't quite understand everything, but I figured out enough. It was cute. Not enough cute that I'm going to go dig up all the past eps but maybe if it comes back, I'll watch from there. I gather its status is a bit uncertain though.

I'm still not finished with my pyramidofdreams ficathon story! ACK! must finish! (and hopefully get it beta'd as well, but, er, I don't know. Last minute and all. yikes.)

but lol, I don't know if I'm for writing them. DW still feels a bit like someone else's fandom since I'm really only a fan of Eleven and Ponds and River...

Though I am tempted to expand on my little DW/BSG crossover ficlet, because Kara and Sam as Companions off to rescue Ponds -- it always helps to get into a new fandom by crossing the old...

YES!!!! I keep rewatching the ep every CHANCE I get. (even though I know some stuff is missing from the broadcast.)

Heh, srsly? You gotta try. You write so well!!!!!! But I do know what you mean. I can't write DW at all. I too am only a fan of 11/River and the Ponds. *shrugs*
