Some brief comments on

STORMAGGEDON DARK LORD OF ALL. Cuz, y'know what? IT IS TRUE. That is how babies think of themselves, center of the universe. Because they are.

and PETRICHOR. hee! But so awesome to see Amy and Rory are doing well, even if I wanted to thwack the Doctor in the face for hiding from them.

Craig and the Doctor are funny. But I do like that there was a definite aura of resignation and melancholy the rest of the time.

RIVEERRRRRR.

young, barely-archaeologist River and the creepy Silents and Kovarian and RIVERRRRRRRR being forced to be the astronaut in the lake (unless we get some kind of switcheroo, but it seems like Moffat's in the knocking-down-dominoes stage, not setting them up. But he's also a big troll so what the hell do I know?)

It's so awful to see River afraid. :(

I wonder what Amy does that she has her own line of perfume? She's obviously famous.

It was so shocking to see River so scared and helpless. I had to remind myself how much younger River is here because I kept thinking she should've kicked their asses. But I suppose it takes time to be that badass. However it made me so angry at all of them abusing baby Melody. It invalidates all their complains about the Doctor.

BTW Salients on the Moon - isn't it taunting faith? How could anyone there not seen that video?

that was cool that Amy's gotten famous in the last year(s) since God Complex. But yes, I do wonder if she's an actress or model or what exactly. Famous enough some little kid wants her autograph.

And also, they screwed around with River's head, so I got the impression they had... silenced... Mels/badass!River. But yes, it's so infuriating that they abuse Melody that way, just to kill the Doctor. Shut up you evil coalition of evil!

I'm basically really, really angry that River gets zero agency throughout her whole life so far, up to and including her relationship/obsession with the Doctor. So I hope I don't have to stay upset about that.

No, she doesn't, and I think for me, it hits harder because her story has unfolded backwards to us. We got to see River at the end, first, after she was free, but now we've seen that when we thought she was free after LKH, she wasn't. So she has yet to make that final break. Hopefully in the finale, but there's a lot of River's story we still don't know ,and I'd rather she stick around.

At least we already know her end so we don't have to worry she'll die next week. :(
