First, Vampire Diaries. You continue to rock beyond the telling of it.
You know how there's the
girlsavesboy thing? yeah, this show does that. eee.
Let's see, here's some random babble:
- Elena sharing her blood? BEST THING EVER OMG. Because okay it's going to go terribly pear-shaped, I'm sure, but it was right to try. And she's so fucking brave and steadfast and just basically all-around-awesome -- and it's not like TB where she gets off on it, it's just her giving herself and trying to do something to fix what's wrong.
- Caroline continues to rule.
- "No, I think he's going to put a stake in your heart and then in mine, all because you took it on yourself to try to kill him. Thanks. NOt as if we didn't have enough problems already." Stefan, you and sarcasm crack me up.
- as does the Caroline/Stefan exchange: "Did you get some bunny in you?" "Yes, I feel better, thanks." I don't know - both their deliveries were so funny to me.- like she's asking if he took an aspirin or something.
- oh, Mason, you are SO dead. Imagine if Stefan (and probably Damon, too, but especially Stefan) had actually died in the cellar) -- Katherine would rip him apart. He's very lucky he had the stone, I suspect.
- Can't really blame Liz, or Caroline, or Elena - they're all just running around being afraid. But I'm so glad E and C made up at the end and Caroline confessed, so they can all work together. I hate it when people work at cross-purposes, no matter how realistic it might be sometimes. Sad for Caroline and Liz, though, because even after Liz is compelled, Caroline will still remember her mother denying her and Liz won't understand why Caroline is pulling away.
- ah, Damon, amazing how you improve for me when you're writhing on the ground in pain. And also with Liz and then with Elena later, telling her that Stefan hadn't had any people blood but he needed to. with very little eye twitchiness. yes.
- the vervainade was inspired
- the moonstone has nothing to do with the werewolves, IMO. Katherine wants it because it's a spell focus, like the necklace was for the tomb. I predict: she's going to bodyswap Elena and leave Elena hanging out to dry when the big bag chasing her comes to town. There's a reason Elena looks just like her and she's been PRACTICING pretending to be Elena, after all. Well, that's my prediction, we'll see what really happens.
Oh, before i forget, since I didn't mention it last week for Nikita:
MY OTHER, OTHER TV BOYFRIEND RUSSELL WONG . please, please, come on Hawaii 5-0 and make it a trifecta of awesome. He's not dead, so he could come back! And maybe pull out some of his badass moves, too. *swoon*
I've only seen bits of this weeks, not the full one, but I'm always down for Nikita shooting things and helping people.
