I'm sorry, thoughtful commentary? This is a show on USA, I have no thoughtful commentary. oh! yes, there was one: I like the glimpses of serious badass in Auggie. I mean, we KNEW he'd been a field agent, but I enjoyed watching him fuck with the polygraph. And mornings at the Spy House are very cute. She REDACTED THE SPORTS SECTION. LOLOLOL love Joan.

Also, though this was Sunday, I'm getting more impressed with Pillars of the Earth. And I finally started to remember the whole story of Stephen and Maud and all that. Duh. So glad I actually paid money for grad school. Oops.

I need a title for my Big Bang fic by tomorrow. ack! I hate it when titles don't show up on their own and I have to go look for them!

I admit I had fun watching Covert Affairs last night. There were explosions and car chases and Annie's German was so much better then her Russian (I actually understood her). But most of all I like the love/backstabbing relationship of Kari Matchett and Peter Gallagher's characters.

My husband was laughing at all the Russian in that one episode. and he took it in school. I can only imagine how terrible it was to someone who knows the language better!

I loved the bit of married romantic life btw Arthur and Joan. It's nice to see the reason they got married and that they still love each other, even if their work is a force pulling them apart, too.

My Russian is not very good either but I can understand simple tv conversations. Hers was horrible. Michel Westin's was pretty good. Although for some reason not always same as the subtitles.

I like their relationship. The thin line they have to walk between trust and honesty that's supposed to be main part of married life and the secrecy their work demands.
