wow, it feels like forever since I've done a tv roundup! Figures it would be LOST that got me off my lazy beehind to write something up.

LEOBEN IS THAT YOU???? *feels all nostalgic* creepy? check. Obsessive? check. still embarrassingly hot? check.
But ha, he got totally Pwned. Take that, scumbag!
But wow, even with David Anders, I still so don't care about the other Russian storyline.
Aw Dana, I hope you're setting up YOUR creepy stalker for a big fall. Because that's what people usually do on this show, so I'm crossing my fingers. (and then it will go awry, probably because Chloe will get on her, and Dana will have no choice but GO ROGUE. Sorry, this is S.8 -- I'm wise to their tricks).
Life Unexpected
Still my cute show. Still makes me feel like I'm an awesome parent!
I love the four main leads. But man, if I didn't already like Baze, knowing his dad's such a prick would definitely do it.
But ha, I wish we'd heard the invitation to Cate's mom. I bet THAT was something to behold.
LOST
I think it's hilarious that my hubby think he has it all figured out already. When he's obviously WRONGY WRONG. (he thinks we're seeing two ends of the SAME timeline.) *chortle* I will enjoy watching Darlton break his brain.
OH JULIET, DON'T BREAK MY HEART AGAIN. However, I cling to the idea that she's alive in 815-B timeline, even if she's gone on-Island.
Smokey and Esau and Not!Locke are all the same. awesome to have that confirmed. (how it 'operates' isn't, and I'll enjoy reading the theories about that and the cabin and such). WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH RICHARD?!?!?! LET HIM GO!
aw, Jacob. If you're inhabiting Sayid now, that means we won't get our lovely Pellegrino Meatsuit anymore. I'll have to hope Lucifer keeps you around for awhile more on SPN. And also, he definitely knew Ben was just a tool -- "an old friend got tired of my company." He certainly didn't say "an embittered servant got pushed to homicide..." I also remember how Jacob said "They're Coming", which has always seemed to me to indicate the time travelers - once they were back in the present, he could let Ben kill him so he could go talk to Hurley and get Sayid saved.
I've read a bunch of theories about Not!Locke's statement about going 'home': he wants to leave the island, he wants to go to Egypt, etc. I wonder if he doesn't mean the Temple -- we only saw Smokey in the tunnel under the wall, IIRC, not the big structure. And certainly Japanese XO dude seemed to think with Jacob dead, the Temple was going to be attacked ANY MINUTE NOW.
(oh, more funnies: so when they reveal the Temple: Mr Liz, who knows Hawaii from growing up there, and who constantly knows exactly where things are filmed, looks at the Temple and observes dryly: "I've never seen THAT on Hawaii before...")
Here's how I envision the timeline(s) right now. The bomb is (and always was) a point of divergence: in one reality, the bomb didn't go off, and that's the timeline we know. That's the timeline of the crash of 815, the time travel to Dharma, and the "home" reality of the characters we've known all along. However, in another reality, Juliet succeeded and the bomb detonated, and sank the Island. Note that in the reality that the bomb didn't go off, the weird time electromagnetism stuff was STILL released and sent all our Time Travelers forward. I believe, based on the fact that Japanese XO launched a firework/rocket that Richard saw at the beach, that the Time Travelers are now in the 'current on-Island time' with Faux-Locke, Sun, etc.

ETA: This is somewhat simplified, since they jumped around a bit more than I have here and they didn't jump all together, but this the main path. Also, Rose and Bernard are in the Time Traveler group, too, and I think it's likely they jumped forward, too, we just don't see them on the Island too often.
Charlotte and Daniel were also in the orange group of Time Travelers - they're dead in Timeline A, but anyone who was alive in Timeline A before 1977 and was not on the Island when it sank should be alive in B.
Okay, so here's my theory/speculation on how these two realities will intersect: Everyone near the Swan in 1977 was treated to the same/similar thing that happened to Desmond. Not only were they all thrown back forward in time again, but they'll start slipping between this reality and the one from the other timeline. Sawyer, Kate, Jack, Miles, Hurley, and Jin (Sayid might be a special case, depending on if he's now Faux-Jacob on the Island or not, which I think is likely, given that Jacob's note apparently said the Others were all fucked if they didn't get Sayid in the Temple). But if not, if he's really "our" Sayid, then he may be able to travel to his alternate-self in the B timeline, too.
Now, the part I'm looking forward to most, if this is true: Jin-A appearing in 815-B, suddenly able to speak English and being nice, but in jail, knows Sun speaks English and poor Sun-B WILL BE SO CONFUSED ("But wait, how do you know English? Were you taking secret lessons too?").
And of course Sawyer-A (James) realizing that Juliet is alive in this other timeline. :D
But this gives a possibility of a great ending as the timelines converge: all of 'our' characters can STAY in this apparently better timeline (or get 'stuck" in Timeline B if the result turns out worse, like it might for Jin).
LOST IS BACK AND IT IS AWESOME.

Hopefully my handy diagram is correct. (it's certainly correct in regards to the time travel part - it's the second timeline part that might be wrong). But we'll find out!
