Brain all squishy from cold. Slime production has slowed but congested my head.
Meanwhile in fic, I have my big hero being unsympathetic, and cranky, and picking a fight with Jack. Which results in Carter sort of smacking them both down, for being dicks. Worrisome, wondering if I'm going too far, with my main character behaving badly, but they really don't like each other.
It occurs to me that with Terminator Salvation set in 2018, it's roughly contemporaneous to Jeremiah, and all of its post-apocalyptic glory. Which makes me think John Connor and Markus have to meet. I guess ongoing machine war apocalypse trumps total apocalypse as a teenager, but at least John had his mom. But still, they'd have a lot to talk about.
Criminal Minds finale. I actually thought for a moment that might be Hotch's wife in the apartment. SILLY ME. (oh, and Garrett Dillahunt was in it. y'know what's one of the weird things I will miss about SCC? NO MORE BEAST WIZARD.)
Lakers lost. HAHAHAHAHA. GO DENVER!!!!!
Also, earlier, Kidlet and I went to kidlet's school Open House and saw all their art/class projects, got dragged around upstairs to the big kids' rooms, and was REQUIRED to play KidsPix. But his enthusiasm was adorable. aw!

We usually are more devoted CM watchers, but this year LOst (Is it lost? Whatever was against it; I've already forgotten) trumped its spot, so we have watched only a few this season, intending to catch reruns over the summer. I like Derek and JJ the best and have warmed to Emily, but I do like Hotch from earlier seasons when he wasn't quite so closed off, but esp after Gideon and his wife left, he's been so DOUR.
It could be a fake out, though I hope the gun at least fired so he spends the first few eps in the hospital and can come out with a little more balance again. (or just go on a crazy psycho bender, so the team would have to take him out. That'd work for me too, if played right. Though they kind of did that with Elle already).

But I adore JJ, Reid, Morgan, and of course, Garcia! Last season, when she was shot, I swore I'd stop watching if they killed her off. Hopefully, I'll never have to follow through on that threat. Emily...is better than Hotch but I still don't care for her and Rossi...I'd probably like him better if they actually developed his character more. Right now, he's just the gruff, old-timer with wisdom to share.
And Lost was on against CM so that's probably what happened. I watched CM when it aired, then watched Lost the next day through OnDemand so I could re-wind anything important or squee-worthy:)!
