There is very little that will make me want to read a fic/get icons LESS than telling me I have to join a comm to see it. Put it at your separate fic/art comm, sure, but then flock it? HUH? If you're that paranoid why are you advertising on major lists? Maybe they have some legit reason, but it feels desperate. *scroll past*

Thought for the week on "game of thrones": you are all so screwed.
(funny thing is that I did read the books way back when - at the least the first two - but I've forgotten them so totally, I might as well not have read them at all)

My weekend was a fun success, but boy am I glad it's over! now to catch up on ... well, almost everything else!

I have discovered more apps for my phone -- like the BARCODE SCANNER. It sometimes returns odd results -- scanning a water bottle, for instance gave me a spanish-language religious biography. But mostly it's very nifty. Kiddo also finds it amusing and went around scanning boxes of pencils and things.
