When I'm empress of the universe I will ban children's birthday parties. THERE ARE TOO MANY! Today's wasn't even my kid's, but the three dozen boys running crazy were plenty.

*flops exhausted on couch*

I was going to work on fic, but this weekend has been a bust, scurrying around doing nothing in particular and birthday partying. I do have a two page outline/notes for the sequel to the Plot Kraken Fic, though. So you'll all get more of that one, whether you want it or not! But first things first -- finish story one!

Scary news about the fire at Universal. It was massively damaging to the backlot and some of the archives. Luckily it sounds as though nothing unique in the archive was lost. I haven't been to the backlot on the tour in years and years, but it's sad to think a lot of what I saw is gone now (the New York City section, including the King Kong attraction, as well as the Town Square). You could still see the remnants of the smoke in the air today. :(

Wait... did you post some of the Sam fic and I missed it? I know I've missed some stuff lately but yikes.

I had to keep an eye on children during one of those parties. It was one of the worse days in my life. Sounds like they just want you to drive you crazy during their birthdays !
