oh bah. I hate it when I write something and THEN find out it's contradicted in canon. It wrecks my groove. It's WRONG. Even if it's not all that important really, and I could keep going, it's just wrong. BUGS.

This is why my writing speed is generally between glacial and snail-like. :)

But I am digging my new AU. One ramification of something Sam did yesterday hit me this morning, and that's always a cool feeling to me, when the ripples start heading outward. I'm definitely going to have to get someone to read it first though, and see if it's all one coherent piece.

Hopefully Friday won't Joss me too badly. eek. This is why I should work on the Other Caprica fic probably, but I'm having too much fun with this right now.

And then a bigger UH OH appeared....

I hate it when that happens. I have one short fic that has never seen the light of day because I discovered a minor canon flaw that I haven't been able to fix without ruining the story. bleh.

But you definately write much faster than I do. If I finish a fic per year I'm doing good.

you are WAY more busy than me, that doesn't help! :)

And yeah, in some ways the small flaws are worse because they're hard to just say, "everything's exactly the same except Nurrti is really South American", and make it into an AU like something bigger (Jacob didn't die!).
