Thanks to the SciFi streaming all frakking day long I saw the ep way more times than I usually see any t.v. episode, especially in one day. And I am STILL all curfubbled. (ok, that's not a word, but I LIKE IT).
SCIFI promo monkeys really do suck just that hard. DAMN. Although being spoiled really didn't help.
Cally. Total breakdown. Not that I blame her, discovering Tyrol was a Cylon (eavesdroppers never hear anything good is SO true, and never truer than on t.v.), that she's got a half-breed child, and she was herself used for breeding half-breeds. On top of depression and lack of sleep. And I swear she was HALLUCINATING Nicky crying half the time, which would be just horrible. Real crying's bad enough, but to hear it when it's not even happening...
Which is why Tyrol's attempt at comfort by saying they could have another child was precisely the WRONG thing to say. It's very wrenching. (sorry, sorry)
Wow, Tory. Cold. But she calculated and it looks like it came out: "Cally=threat, threat=Airlock, therefore Cally=airlock." Simple, efficient. And (so far) free of consequences. I presume it was just declared a suicide and Tory cleaned up after herself, either leaving Nicky there to be discovered by others, or sneaking him back to the Tyrols. But with Cottle's testimony and Tyrol's bump on the head, there was probably not much investigation.
Smaller points: Tory has super powers now. You do not ONE HANDED, while holding a child that weighs 20 pounds, hit a woman of your own body weight across the floor like that without some serious power. THAT is awesome.
I am also really glad that none of the other four were involved. I don't mind some ambiguity on the Four's loyalties, but I don't want them all to be tainted by this.
Poor Galen Tyrol.
Actually Poor EVERYONE in this episode, come to think of it.
CYLON CIVIL WAR! best thing EVER OMG. I love Natalie so much. "Escort him off the ship. Please." heh. Centurions are cool, but they are CREEEEEEEPY and scary.
She better not be dead. Maybe the Leobens will rush in with a backup fleet at the last second and save them? *looks hopeful*
Boomer, still breaking my heart. But I hope finding out that Cavil really doesn't care about who lives and dies, even among his own kind, is going to wake her up. But then I think, to what? *cries for Boomer* But I like what Grace is doing with Natalie's henchwoman Eight.
Basestars will never not be beautiful though.
I wonder why Matthew Bennett was in the credits when he wasn't even there. Did I miss a glimpse of my woobie, or did they cut him out? *cries for Doral*
comments abruptly cut short by Kidlet nightmares. More later.
Maybe.
