I just lost the two inches out of the middle of my laptop screen.

Guess it's kicking it now. Been a long time coming, but I think the day has arrived. I moved all my big video files to the external HD and am now copying all my docs and stuff, in case of total failure.

Damn it.

Ugh. Sorry to hear your screen is going. That's generally the most expensive piece on a laptop to replace too. An excuse to buy a new one, right?

oh yes, definitely getting a new one. I have to put the windows to either side of the big black hole in the middle of the screen - it's very annoying!

But luckily this has been coming for awhile, so we're prepared. our big screen HD t.v. will have to wait (much to D's inner distress, I'm sure!)
