Happy New Year!
And it's also
yuletide author reveal time. So, for those who may be interested, here are my wee (and not so wee) contributions to the Yuletide Ficathon this year.
From The Wheel of Time fantasy series:
The Honor of the Red Eagle
The tragedy of Aemon and Eldrene, and the Fall of the Kingdom of Manetheren.
(This story takes place over a thousand years before the events of the novels, fleshing out the bits of the tale we're given in canon. I expected this story to do better, but... I dunno. Maybe it's too epic. Or not epic enough - because, dude, I could've made this a novel with scary ease. I've wanted to write this story since I read the first of the books, fifteen years ago. And I love it quite a lot.)
And my two late fics, both Jeremiah verse, Gen, PG:
A Party of One, or Two
After the Alliance victory, Jeremiah looks for someone who isn't celebrating.
(This one was written virtually at the last-minute for
elynross who's one of the mods and did such an awesome job, I just HAD to write her a Treat.)
and
If the fates allow
Christmas at Thunder Mountain, and remembering the lost.
(Written for
telscha as a pinch-hit, because her original writer flaked out and I wanted to make sure she had something. *snugs* Ah, so easy to write stuff for one's flist, though hard to keep the secret!)
Since I wrote the only two fics for the fandom and they're not that different, the comments were an interesting experiment.

And boy am I glad too, just so Jeremiah would get SOME representation this year, since no one ended up with an assigned fic for our wee fandom. Last year there was none and it was very sad.
