I won! HA! Someone tried to outmaneuver me at the third minute before closing, but neener neener, I was watching and countered.

I've only done a few auctions and I always get smoked at the last minute (because I am cheap with my max bids). So it feels particularly good to grab one. Not to mention I feel virtuous because it's not even for me!

I should eBay some of my stuff in the garage. It's not doing anyone any good out there.

Tomorrow I have to get up early, not take a shower (because my bathroom is a mess again - the shower door wasn't properly sealed, so they had to re-do it), and drive across the city. joy. Traffic.

Second funniest thing I saw today:

At Best Buy, I went wandering through the notebooks, since I'm probably going to need one by January. And one of them has a sign on it: "Plenty of memory to run Windows Vista!" and I look -- the machine has 520 MB RAM. Bwahahaha! Will that even open the system with that little memory?

apparently, yes. I think it was Consumer Reports or something like that, which said Vista uses 1 GB RAM all on its own, so they recommend 2. Which make 500 MB just ridiculous.

:D I found a lot of fun Santa/holiday/Solstice icons out there. I think I have about 40 saved in my photobucket. *sheepish* The Naughty Santa!Jack is my favorite one that I've found so far.

Although Santa!Lorne is a pretty close second...
