late costuming comes to bite me on the ass. grr.

I HAVE a draft of the stupid Bucs patch and it's sized appropriately in my paint program. And of course I want to print it to see how it looks -- if I need to sharpen it or re-color it or whatever.

And I can't get it to print actual size.

Does anyone know how to STOP/turn off the stupid XP photo printing wizard from coming up so I can just print the stupid thing without trying to resize it (either enlarge or crop) to fit photo sizes?

I should add -- I've tried to save it as a jpg, gif, tiff, and bmp files. They ALL do the same thing. *Kicks XP*

ETA: A HA! yes, I should've known. The extremely primitive MS Paint bypasses XP, just like Notepad does. So that's fixed.

*grumps*

The patch is a little too small and not sharp enough. Crap.

I'm sure a PDF would work, but I don't have an easy way to convert it. At least not something as easy as opening my MS Paint, which turns out to be just primitive enough that it doesn't try to "help" me. yay for stupid programs!

You're in luck. I have adobe writer. Why don't you e-mail me the file (if it's less than 5 MB it should be OK). I can try to print it to PDF (easiest way to convert) and then send it back to you. No promises it will work, but if you wanna try, go for it. I'll be at my desk another 90 minutes before I go and get the child.
