I doubt Stargate could've afforded Bowie (or even thought to ask him), but it would've been cool. But maybe CKR, thinking more Vancouver-local? Or William Davis, if they hadn't wasted him as a prior. hm.
yes. The ending is perfect. Although I think I love the structure the best - and how Nolan had enough faith in the audience not to cue each flashback with a color change or fade or whatever.
