thanks! Yeah, I was remembering that final shot of Sam all alone in the corridor, and I realized that, of all the Four, he's got the least to hold him there. The other four have their duty and Tyrol has his family, but Sam doesn't. Plus so much of his current identity is wrapped up in Fighting Cylons, and that's a recipe for disaster.
My hope is that in canon, he finds out about Kara quickly before he has a chance to do anything.
