migraine day. Gods, I need different meds, what I have just doesn't work worth crap. But it did give me the idea for what I'm going to inflict on one of my characters (shades of writing pneumonia!Sam for 120 Days, Falling during my last bronchitis go around...)
Anyway, GOOD things about today:
- there was a cute little article in the LA Times today about BSG, especially focusing on Starbuck. Two best parts? First, the pic they use? Sam/Kara from 'Rapture' promo (see icon)! Who Hoo! Second, Katee's first words to the interviewer: "I'm hungover. I'd rather you think I'm a little drunk, than I'm stupid." *snerk*
- I took a nap.
- our local large post office parking lot was hosting some sort of police tactical exercise. There must have been fifty cars and motorcycles, big SWAT vans and command trucks, etc. I had the rather amusing thought that it would be a perfect time for someone to try to rob the big Wells Fargo branch two blocks away. Can you imagine? Fifty cars come screaming around the corner... heh.
