I was surprised that Lee's name wasn't even mentioned in this story. I would have expected Adama and/or Roslin to at least consider him for a mission of such delicacy and importance--after all, they were willing to trust him with a Battlestar. I'm pleased to see that there's some reasoning here, and not simply "I don't like Lee, so I'm pretending he doesn't exist."
That said, Sam and Kara are great, logical, fun choices, and you write them well. I especially like Roslin asserting her authority, and her choice of Sam, and her convincing him to do it.
This is quixotic crossover, one that I would doubt that anyone could pull off well, so I'm very pleased to see you try anyway, and even more so that you are succeeding. I look forward to reading more as you create it.
