yes, ROME's back! YAY! (about frelling damn time too...)
First, because it's currently making the rounds:
I don't find myself caring about the new SGA news too much. There is no bad in more Sam. Weir is still going to be there. How it will all play out should be interesting. Because, why IS Sam going to be leaving the SGC to spend so much time in Atlantis? Is it just going to be that damn boring once the Ori and Baal are defeated (presumably) in the movies, that to find something else to do with herself she come to Atlantis? Or is there going to be some sort of reason she's there?
Anyway, savedanieljackson.com anyone? please, let's not go there again, fandom.
Ok, onto the squee!
Antony rocks. Well, Octavian rocks first (even though he's not actually supposed to be there, but *fiction*). He's the smartest person in that room when he lays it out, isn't he? Excepting maybe Posca - I think it would be hilarious if the will didn't actually say that and he was just ad-libbing it and everyone bought it since they were all worried with other things. unlikely, i know, but it would be awesome. But Octavian explains to everyone what's going to happen, and finally, finally they listen. And he's right.
Then, Antony rocks, laying it out for Brutus and Co. YES. I want to have his babies. Because Brutus knows it's going to get worse, "truce" or no truce. Antony is just biding his time. And we see it later when he tells them all to get out and leave Servilia as a hostage. hee. You just got served, gentlemen. Start running. Antony and OCtavian will catch up to you somewhere aroung... oh, Greece. heh. "Then you are my enemies, and I will annhilate you." guh. I'll be little German girl from the kitchen, 'kay?
Vorenus just makes me ache. ow. ow.
But Pullo's back with him and together, they can do anything. Blessed by the gods, as Caesar said. (or writers anyway)
And Erastes? Bye bye. *waves*
And next week? CLEOPATRA comes to visit. I love her, crack habit and all. Awesome.
But not even ROME can defeat the power of BSG on Sun nights next week. I'll have to wait to watch my pretty, bloody violent KICKASS roman history lesson (hah) 'til monday.
oh Skiffy, the things I put up with for you...
