norsebigbang and mine was the second taken. phew! Nothing like that horrible sinking feeling when your fic just goes unclaimed and unclaimed and unclaimed ... and it looks like this person at least has a record of doing the thing, which is also a plus, since there have been other... situations ... where that didn't happen. I think I bat about .500 for the first assigned artists doing their thing for any of my big bangs. Guess this means I have to do it now!
We did, in fact, see Maleficent yesterday and Angelina Jolie was kind of born to play her. I definitely enjoyed her parts the best, though Maleficent is my fave anyway, so I was predisposed. But omg, I was hoping Maleficent would murder those three fairies (and whoever approved that final cgi design for them, because, wow no). It was hilarious that Philip was even in it, he was so unimportant. I always liked him in Sleeping Beauty as well, since he actually had a name and did stuff, unlike the other earlier princes who just kinda show up.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 is probably up next, for kiddo.
