Pelican of the Night, Amelia Peabody books, Ramses/David, Adult.
My first Yuletide fic! Also, my most porny, oddly enough.
With the Dead , Space: Above and Beyond. Nathan, Nathan/Shane(ish), 350 words.
Nathan loses his grip on reality after the finale. I've always vaguely wanted to expand this one, since it's pretty devastating.
2007
The Honor of the Red Eagle , Wheel of Time. Eldrene/Aemon, 20K words.
My grand opus of Yuletide. The tragic romance of the Fall of Manetheren.
In which Eldrene tells the White Tower to go fuck themselves, marries her Warder, sees the fall of Aridhol, becomes a queen, watches her beloved get butchered and her city betrayed, wipes out a hundred thousand trollocs singlehandedly and burns down a city so thoroughly it ceases to exist.
(She's kind of the Luthien of WoT, come to think of it - lived in an era of legend when everything was very Dramatic and everyone was a bit more hardcore.)
I remember my recipient was just like "whatever, anything". So I took that 'anything' literally. I loved that story from the moment Moiraine tells it to give courage to a bunch of frightened kids and I wanted the whole thing - and given RJ couldn't (probably wouldn't anyway, if he'd lived), I did it myself. CARAI an ELLISANDE.
If the Fates Allow , Jeremiah, Markus, Erin. Christmas in Thunder Mountain after Meaghan's passing.
A Party of One, or Two, Markus,Jeremiah, post finale blues.
Matching fics for Jeremiah back when the "fandom" was kind of at its height. poor little fandom.

Holy Thursday, Day of Judgment , Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. Derek, Kyle.
A story of Judgment Day, taking Derek's story of what happened and filling it in, including his mom.

Foreigner-verse. Bren and Banichi talk salad and seduction.

American Psycho. Adult (for some brutal imagery)
Until my recent flirtation with Avengers, this was my biggest story on AO3. It's still probably one of my best stories ever - I was really channeling the style and the voice and the character burrowed in my brain so far, it got a little scary.
Just a Chance of Better Days , Jeremiah. Markus at the first Christmas after the Big Death, overwhelmed.
Something to Treasure , Terminator Salvation. John/Kate, Kate shares the news that she's pregnant.
Be Not Afraid , Babylon 5.
It's always fun to write for flisters when I can, and Sinclair and Garibaldi are my catnip. :)

The Taste of Lemons , Justified. Ava Crowder.
It took me the longest time to figure out how to do a story, and I don't feel like I really got it. This story is basically an Ava-focused remix of "Fire in the Hole", and so I feel like it's kind of cheating. Or maybe it's just that I don't like my attempt at Elmore Leonard's voice (not sure what it says about me that I can do Bret Easton Ellis writing a serial killer...). The story's okay, but it's my least favorite of any of my Yuletide fics.
The Answer
Jeremiah. In the ep the Question, Markus asks for Meaghan back - this is the fallout of his refusal to believe and he talks with Smith.
The Wolf of the Mountain , Jeremiah. Markus/Jeremiah. Markus is a werewolf.
(look, Elyn is a mod of Yuletide, she works really hard, and she likes Markus/Jeremiah, so I wrote her porny crack)
Half Past Forever
Vampire Diaries. Stefan, Caroline. Bonnie/Jeremy ish. Vampires live forever, that means they watch their mortal friends move on.
Dang, this was for Yuletide. I'd forgotten this fandom qualified once-upon-a-time. Why, oh why, Show, couldn't we have kept this Stefan and Caroline?
2011
City Lights
Person of Interest. Reese, Finch, and the aftermath of Number Crunch (when he was shot). Canon didn't go this way, but I think it still holds up emotionally, if not factually.
Impossible Attraction of Like Polarities, Murdoch Mysteries. Murdoch/Pendrick.
I kind of love it? These two really uptight men of science, one closeted and one ignorant but willing to experiment, in the turn of the last century... It felt like a victory to get them to kiss in 2500 words.
One of my few titles I LOVE LOVE LOVE. It's a small fandom, but it gets pretty steady hits to my surprise.
Episode 33: "The Dark Reflection" Galaxy Quest. Gwen. (a bit of Gwen/Jason)
Gwen is a badass and picks her battles against sexism as she preps the next episode featuring Mirror!Tawny.
The story of mine most recced during Yuletide thanks to the popularity of the movie.
