We all went see Wreck-It Ralph on the weekend - obviously Kid LOOOOOOOVED it. It's very cute. Because this is how my head works, I looked for Tron references and didn't catch one. And yet it so clearly belongs in the same universe. So ever since we weatched, I've been musing random crossovers about that -- Calhoun leading a resistance to Clu when he invades Heroes Duty... Iso's fleeing into the other games... hee.
Apparently fate was very much against my seeing Mumford and Sons this weekend - not only did I miss all the tix for the two public shows, I also didn't win any for the other two private shows the radio stations were giving away. So I'll just have to watch the webcast then. FINE, UNIVERSE, no concerts for me this week. I get it.
I've written 5K of the wrong story. Er, self, that Big Bang is not writing itself.
I got a comment that loved Poison Rain but said I had terrible dialogue. I suppose it cancels out the person who loved it, as outliers. Still it's a bit depressing, when I actually like what I did. :/
