list of ongoing projects

At bsg_checkin we were talking about in-progress, unfinished fics, so I'm gonna list mine in the hopes it'll prompt me to, y'know, actually DO IT. And then maybe I could strike them out when I finish a draft. ooooh, rewards!



BSG:

1. Not All That We Are 4: Black Sails at Dawn
(status: 85% finished. At least. one long action sequence remaining with multiple POVs. Big Fucking Climax of the whole entire thing)

2. As yet untitled BSG/Doctor Who crossover
(status: More than half..I know what else happens and some of it's drafted)

3. Triad: Discards
K/S/L triad marriage and Really Terrible Stuff happens fic.
(status: what I have is solid, but there's a big gap)

4. Shadow on the Pattern
B5/BSG crossover
(status: You guys, I was just reading over what I have written on this which isn't online yet, and I was crushed when I got to the part I haven't filled in yet. ARGH. needs more)

5. In God's Country
Western AU.
(status: not very complete, but I do like the first part.



AVENGERS
1. Understanding the Storm 3: The Poison Rain
(status: 90% or so. Two scenes left)

2. Avengers-fest-exchange fic.
(status: 0. need to rewatch one of the other films to see if my intention will work)

3. Avengers/Person of Interest crossover for Crossover Big Bang
(status: 25% perhaps. needs a better plan for the middle)


I also have a couple kink bingo ficlets mostly done, but I need to finish two more or abandon the effort.



and also tv and other Important Tasks to catch up on.
(edit: Princess in the Tower has become my second biggest story on AO3. it's a KID POV. future fic of an implausible future at best. I am confuzzled by fandom sometimes)

it occurs to me that what you did yesterday with your Loki-Frigga ficlet UtS3 is going to do in 30K words. lol I AM WORDY MCWORDYPANTS.

ugh. that B5/BSG crossover, I barely thought of it at all for a year, but now suddenly there are all these B5 people around again, so i was inspired to look at what I have drafted. and I STILL LOVE IT SO MUCH. and I need to work on it again, definitely.

Except, y'know, that big honkin list of Other Stuff. :)

Honestly, the relationship and her trying to pull him back DESERVES a helluva lot more than the 1,000+ words I was able to give it. So word it all up! (Also, I just realized that the Loki in my icon looks more like Kevin Bacon than Tom Hiddleston. :P)

I've read what's posted of your crossover so far. SO GOOD. So if it means having to wait while you wade through the Other Stuff, then I'm happy to do so. Also willing to beta or brainstorm if you requires a second pair of eyes/second brain.

ah, thanks. I may take you up on that when I finally turn to doing the crossover. There's a big chasm in the story that I need to fill, and it's kind of where I got stuck - the part I WANT to write is past it, so it's always just sat there and taunted me with its incompleteness.

I am sure you know my thoughts on Shadow on the Pattern (which boil down to "please finish it", but with lots of happydancing and etc). And the Avenger/PoI crossover sounds entertaining. (ok, and the rest of BSG stuff, too, particularly western AUs and Doctor Who crossovers. =D)
