One of the things that interests me about this is Sam neglecting to mention he's a Cylon, but then I wonder, at this point, would it matter to Will? If he's never met humanoid Cylons and doesn't associate them with the destruction of the worlds, then might he be inclined to trust the Final Five in a way that he couldn't immediately in canon? That doesn't have a lot to do with your story, just some meta it got me thinking about.
Anywho, this was awesome and creative and really cool and I loved it. <3
