kag523 wrote a fun Kara/Sam AU of them pre-series, One Night in Hades . I've always wanted an AU where the pilot Anders who gets namechecked in the mini was 'our' Sam. And Karin wrote it! And it's fun and sexy (and makes me sad knowing they're about to get their teeth kicked in by the Cylons, but, y'know, it wouldn't be BSG-fic without dread somewhere, right?) so go read it and encourage the writing of Kara/Sam. Because I am totally depressed that our own ficathon had no readers except the people who wrote for it. :( THIS IS WRONGY WRONG WITH WRONG SAUCE, fandom.
I abandoned my Yuletide fic as hopelessly stupid and unworkable, and I am now trying to come up with something else. BOO FOR FAILED IDEAS.
