It's a bit weird to be writing a story that has absolutely NO fantastic, supernatural or otherwise genre elements. But I think the banter is taking up that space, since these two will not shut up. I'll probably end up rewriting/deleting half of my "witty" banter, but it's fun anyway.
Pretty sure I would've shot all the collaborators were I Tom or Weaver. Yeah, yeah, they were keeping their own children safe, and those people get a tiny bit of a pass for desperate times, but the rest? selling other people's children into alien slavery to keep your cushy life without that excuse? SHOOT THEM. If you can't even be trusted to protect the future of humanity... ugh.
Though I expected the 'Dragonslayer' form of ironic justice, as the Skitters would take the daughter instead. That may yet come I suppose, for the ones who survived.
I'm sure that bit about the Skitters having a quota to fill is our Mytharc Moment of the Episode. I've seen spec that they're actually enslaved/working for some other race themselves, which would tie into the mechs being bipedal.
But chilling that Rick is still hooked into the aliens. (though, aliens? This goes for Cylons too - when you exterminate billions of people you don't get to make judgy and superior comments about how humans like killing each other.)

I ALSO didn't just buy a DVD of Odysseus: Voyage to the Underworld -
from Australia! They are apparently the only place where it is out on
DVD yet...
From what I could see from the (really low quality) download I saw
earlier, that movie has the most horrendously bad CGI monsters I've
seen in a long time - and Jr in a short tunic!

Anyway.......YES! I would have killed them all! Its the least they deserved. I havent heard that other info about the Skitters being enslaved themselves. That is very interesting. I can see that making sense. I have this strange theory that the harnesses can possibly turn humans into aliens/skitters. Rick is the one that hinted me to this with his strange behavior/quotes from last week, along with the previous for this weeks episode, which I CANT WAIT TO SEE! 10 MORE MINUTES! :P
