Hey, I just caught up and watched about four eps of the show over the last couple of evenings. It's pretty cute and OMG, the balcony scene!! Glad I'd set the DVR to catch it.

I totally miss you and I'm sorry I haven't been around at all. Short update-I had a even more serious version of preclampsia called HELLP (if that's possible!) and was horribly sick at home/sleeping constantly/on bed rest for several weeks while my regular ob couldn't seem to figure out what was going on. Vomiting constantly and still gaining weight/retaining fluids and in the most horrible pain I've ever had of any kind-stomach convulsions.

I went to the ER twice and when the dr there figured out what was wrong, finally ended up being taken to the biggest hospital downtown in an ambulance for an emergency c section almost six weeks early! Very very scary. My liver and kidneys were shutting down, my blood pressure was through the roof and my blood was consuming itself, and the only cure is to deliver the baby. I had to have five bags of platelets/blood after the surgery and all these drugs.

The good news though is that the baby was far enough along that his lungs are ok and he weighed five lbs and nine ounces. He's doing really well, no medical issues so far at all, but he can't come home from the hospital until he can eat all his food without his feeding tube in his nose. He's up to 50 percent now, but I'm SO ready for him to come home. I HATE leaving him there. I stayed for two weeks, but I've been discharged now. Also, I have more energy and feel more normal than I have since June. Apparently, I was actually sick with this the whole time and it just gets even worse towards the end. Ugh!

Anyways, miss you!! See I have lots of fic to catch up on. *Hugs* Take care and hope we can chat again soon when I'm up late again doing midnight feedings and such. ;>) I'll get some pics up and such when I'm not so tired. I couldn't go to the hospital this morning because we had a massive ice storm, so thought I'd catch up on a few things online.
