The Impala is an automatic. I thought for sure it was a standard. But upon actual examination it's not. WHAT IS THIS FUCKERY? hrmf. That ruins my double-entendre. *grumps* (though humorously they use both 2-door and 4-door versions of the car, so there's actually canon for both, though I think the 2-door version is the preferred. So I don't have to waste time having Ben crawl in through the front, thankfully. He can have his own door.)

And while I'm whining - I guess I now have to figure out what to do with all the BSG characters who aren't really being featured in the BSG/B5 xover. Like Lee. He was still CAG in 3.5 until he quit for Baltar's trial right? But I have too many people in the scene as is. He'll have to wait. *grump*

I do like how he and Sinclair parallel each other, in a sense. They're both pilots, who get forced into command positions and do them well, and then leave the military to pursue a more political path because of their own idealism (ok, so Jeff gets forced into that, too, but it's the right thing to do). Sinclair's got a messiah-thing on him that Lee doesn't, but they're still similar in some ways. Boy would Sinclair HATE how the strike in Dirty Hands played out, huh? lol. Though I suppose Lee probably SHOULD parallel Sheridan more, what with their eventual civilian positions, but, hm. What say you?

Speaking of, ah, you people. *shakes head* Picking political negotiations over trash compactors. I love you, but you're CRAZY. ;P
