ah yes, shipping polls. People, WHY? No good EVER comes out of them. It's not like fandom wasn't annoying enough already. *sigh* I liked Damon a lot better before certain fannish elements started canonizing his psychopathic ass. You want to redeem him? Let him WORK for it.

Wee!Sam on Hawaii 5-0, last night. ::hearts:: ( I should clarify -- Wee!Sam Winchester, who was really excellent in his flashback eps for SPN. So many Sams!) Also, Lost fans, Dillingham airfield was the place Ajira landed, by the way. And at least an HOUR away from where they started from Waimanalo when they heard where to go. Oahu's small, but not THAT small and they were driving one end to the opposite. *snicker* I notice, but I don't CARE, I guess. It doesn't destroy my suspension of disbelief, I guess because I don't have any to start with? It's like watching the Mentalist or Castle -- the very premise these shows are built on is utterly ridiculous, so once you buy that, little stupid things like distance don't seem to matter. Anyway, I find it more amusing than off-putting.

But I like the dynamic they're building, and DDK on a motorcycle was... *shifty* something I could watch some more. And Grace's fight scene was pretty awesome (though I did think once that Sharon would've done better. *g*)

I like the group dynamic there, too. I was cautiously optimistic after the pilot, but last night made me think they were definitely going in the right direction with the characters and their relationship. That's what I require out of a police procedural even more than awesome storytelling.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that they're obnoxiously good looking people.

(I'm pretty sure my brain is reading Kona as a rogue Eight, lol. I hope I can eventually shake that association.)
