merrykk started it . I just had the cracked idea of Sam hijacking a basestar to come find Kara but she thought that idea belonged to a never-was series, Planetside Caprica, where Sam was the main character. And then nicole_anell kept it going about how it should all be Caprica Resistance and people would then complain about how Sam/Kara was too quick and ignored the history between Sam and Jean.
So. Since I have yet to find an AU I don't like -- I have some ideas for episodes. *g* If you'd like to add your own, or WRITE ONE, the more the merrier! (I don't exactly follow the timing of the Plan since we've gotta make a series out of it).
Episode 1 : The Pilot
The Caprica Buccanneers (the C-Bucs) are doing high-altitude training in the mountains, when Caprica is attacked by the Cylons, an enemy race not seen or heard from in decades. This episode introduces our lead characters: Sam Anders, team captain, is a calming influence on his mostly younger team-mates; Coach, who takes up the leadership of what they're going to do; Jean Barolay, Sam's good friend; Sue-Shaun, who wants to fight; and Doctor Simon, the team's medic. As the shock fades, they realize they need more information and leave their base. They see Centurions and Raiders and realize it's the Cylons, and decide they have to fight back -- even though they don't really know how. They go into the local town to get weapons, and find the locals already forming their own resistance. The two groups join forces which works until the Centurions invade the town and most people are killed, forcing the C-Bucs and a few townspeople to flee. But at the end it is revealed to the audience that their trusted team doctor, Simon, is himself a Cylon.
Episode 2: The Chase
The Centurions chase the new resistance in the mountains, giving them no time to rest or fight back. Exhuasted, they finally turn and fight, using some of their pyramid tactics to bring down their enemies.
Episode 3:
The C-Bucs scavenge for supplies, discovering a lone survivalist in an empty town. He seems to be crazy and dangerous, fixating on Sam and warning him that no one is quite what he seems to be. He slips away in the night mysteriously. Meanwhile Jean has nightmares about all the dead they've seen.
Episode 4:
Hilliard is desperate to find his family and goes off on his own to find them, forcing the C-Bucs to rescue him when he's pinned down by Centurions. In the melee Coach is killed.
Episode 5
The C-Bucs turn to Sam as their leader - and though he doesn't especially want it, he steps up, as most of the team gets sick, and he and Simon have to get supplies to help them.
Episode 6
While trailing some Centurions back to their base, the C-Bucs discover the Cylons have human forms. In the firefight, Sam panics - only Jean is witness but it shakes him badly and he tries to get her, or someone else, to be leader in his place. But Father Cavil, a human the resistance rescued from the fight, counsels him.
Episode 7
The C-Bucs find the survivalist from Episode 3, who tries to throw the camp into disarray by accusing Simon of being a Cylon. As Sam tries to sort out who's lying, on a mission to look for a new base, Jean and Hilliard run into new models of Cylon: including the Sixes and another Leoben. they rush back to bring the news to camp before it's too late.
Episode 8
Now knowing Leoben is a Cylon, Sam decides to interrogate him. Cavil encourages him to be cruel, avenge himself on his prisoner, until Sue-Shaun confronts Sam about what he's doing. But despite the torture, Leoben never loses his conviction that Sam has a destiny. In the end, he dies (poison administered secretly by Simon).
Episode 9
Fearing their position has been compromisd, the C-Bucs flee again, and all of them deal in their own way with the revelation that Cylons download and don't die. That they are, in fact, fighting an unwinnable war.
Episode 10:
Desperate for a place to stay, Sam, Jean, and Hilliard go to scout a mountain resort as a possibility. It's plush, and the people are welcoming, as if they don't even know there's a war. But it's soon revealed as a trap. Drugged and hallucinating (Sam having strange and PORTENTOUS images in his head), they have to find a way out before the Cylons arrive.
Episode 11:
The C-Bucs take shelter in some old ruins in the middle of a thunderstorm. Drenched, they huddle under a few blankets and try to make the most of the circumstances. Each character takes a turn telling a story to pass the time: Sam tells the story of Prometheus, who brought fire to mankind, and adds a new ending about how terribly he suffered for his mistake.
Episode 12
The C-Bucs want to camp at an abandoned military base near Delphi, but to do that, Sam wants to distract the Cylons by mounting the resistance' first major operation against the Cylon base at Delphi. But not everyone agrees with the need for it and the team breaks up - Sam leads the attack, and Jean and Simon taking the others to take the school.
Episode 13: Delphi (season one finale!
At Delphi, Sam, Sue-Shaun, and Hilliard lay explosives - while Father Cavil reveals he's a Cylon too, and meets with a Six to decide the fate of Sam and the C-Bucs. Meanwhile, at the school, Jean catches Simon poisoning one of the resistance members and he attemps to kill her.
If you want to write the stories, meta, shipping manifestos, or whatever - it's a playground for all! ;)
And okay, I totally would LOVE to do this like a Virtual Season sort of thing - where I could do an "episode" and someone else would do another 'episode', etc. SO IF YOU'RE INTERESTEDPLEASE LET ME KNOW. I um, might be setting up a comm, right now...

(So, I'm thinking that maybe Jean hooks up with Sue-Shaun, so there's a Quad of Doom feel among the imaginary fans? That would be fun to write imaginary meta for, I think. ;-)

But actually yes, I figure both the ep when he gets drugged and hallucinates could be hallucinating Earth and/or Cylons or something SIGNIFICANT, and also the storytelling episode would be HEAVY WITH CLUES. :D (because I do that like breathing, yo)
And fans would be all -- "What are those weird visions about? WHat is Leoben talking about? WHO IS HIS SOUL MATE WHO WILL COME TO SAM WITH THE DAWN????" And there would be fights over WHO it is -- and possibly imaginary wank IS more fun...
