twelvecolonies challenge of 25,000 words by Dec. 1? I don't know. I'd like to help out the team. The word count doesn't particularly scare me, since I've done 20K in two weeks before, for my yuletide assignment in 07.
But. I have asg_rarepairings fic to write by beginning Dec, too. I have Ariadne to finish editing and put up next week. (OMG! NEXT WEEK! *flail*) And several of my possible longfic ideas tend to tread all over Ariadne and its sequel, since they're all S.4 AUs.
But on the other, other hand (yes, I'm an octopus, shut up): I have two ideas that might work.
1. Do a fic compliant with The Plan, in my Before it's too late-'verse, where Sam and Leoben get to know each other on Caprica, really really well.
2. Something completely different in an Earth AU (not Nellis-verse). A few of you may remember I did a comment-fic sometime ago in which Kara is a concert pianist, and Sam's a physicist. I did a vague outline for how they meet and run into bad guys and stuff, awhile back, and that could go 20K easily.
So, since I have to decide NOW, A POLL! :)
