Jeez, people, I go away and suddenly everyone decides they have to post? I thought a couple of days wouldn't be so bad....
In news of the trip -
We have eaten more food than is healthy. We've been to the beach once so far and Kidlet had a blast. We've also discovered a bakery where they make donuts without eggs. YUMMY donuts for Kidlet. we'll have to go back before we leave (donuts! for kidlet! That don't taste like sawdust!) It's rained once, been acceptably hot most of the time, and pretty windy. In the last two years people here have decided they NEED to back into parking spaces -- it is SO FRAKKING ANNOYING ZOMG.
sadly, I have yet to run into anyone from LOST. But there's still time! :)
I forgot my google password, because I'm an idiot. bah. But it's not like I can gtalk anyway, since I'm three hours earlier than I was before, and that was bad enough, by the time I can get online!
In more unfortunate fannish news, my copy of Ariadne on my thumb drive is corrupt/unreadable by my MIL's computer (even though the other fic files I brought are just fine.) ARRGH. So I've started a new file for new stuff but man, that's irritating. But I think I've figured out the issue I was having with the climax, so that's good. I've actually done most of my writing by hand, since there's no a/c and it's too hot to sit at the desktop for long in the back room. I would write on hubby's netbook but I find it terrible for writing. My fingers don't deal with those teeny keys AT ALL.
